I love to edit. I might be a little crazy, but I love making the characters
personalities, emotions and thoughts really pop off the pages. It's amazing how
one little comma or removal of a comma can really change the tone of the
passage. Also using the correct word in a sentence.
My favorite examples are a little naughty, but it gets the point across and I am
sure you've seen these examples on Pinterest or Facebook:
I just helped my Uncle Jack off a horse. Eeep! How
about: I just helped my Uncle Jack, off a horse. A
Comma can change everything! Also, I rather go for a walk
than cuddle. I don't know. I rather go for a walk
then cuddle. Then vs than can sometimes be missed.
I know those
examples might be a little over the top, but it shows how just one wrong word
can completely change what you wanting your readers to read!
Just my little two
cents for today! <3 Back to the editing cave for a bit I go!
